What this website does not do

This website sets no cookies and uses no advertising or tracking tools. Fonts are served from our own domain.

Hosting

The website runs on Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). To deliver the pages and protect them against attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data of each request: IP address, date and time, requested page, browser and operating system. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure and working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Visitor statistics

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies and without fingerprinting. A small script sends Cloudflare the page address, the referring page, the browser type, the country and loading times. No personal profile is built and visits are not tracked across websites. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing how the website is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Coverage list on the Factmark Insurance page

The list of covered insurers is loaded from our own server at mcp.factmark.app, which also runs on Cloudflare. The request contains the same technical data as above and the name of the product category. We use it to show the current list and to count how often our data is requested.

Email

If you email us, we use your address and message only to answer you and delete them when they are no longer needed, unless we must keep them by law. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to hello@factmark.app. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
